Mountain Bike Coach Level 1
This three day class is for riders who want to understand the essence of great riding and coaches who want a simple, easy-to-use system to help their students progress in their riding.
Topics include
Dynamic mountain bike fit
Riding positions
Pedaling technique
Braking
Cornering
Pumping
Drops
Jumps
Picking lines
Finding flow
Principles of safe instruction
A framework for teaching MTB skills
A proven curriculum for a level 1 class
Awareness of higher-level instruction
RideLogic Level 1 certificate (optional)
Class runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day, with a mix of classroom, drills in a lab setting, and on-trail application.
CO residents pay only $220 plus $199 for the online textbook. Non residents pay about $560. Thank you public education. My normal 3-day classes cost $1,800.
You can take the class for audit (just for fun) or a letter grade. If you want a letter grade or a RideLogic Level 1 certificate you must complete the quizzes in the online textbook.
You can rent bike and gear from the college, but I recommend bringing your own.

So with the low non resident price, how much of the 3 day course is different than your regular 3 day course that's not affiliated with the school? I guess I could ask how much is the same, LOL. Sounds like a great option.
